The heat pump integrated TES prototype developed for Megaray's hot water needs successfully validated the system operating concept. Under defined test conditions, approximately 90% thermal efficiency and up to 50% reduction in energy costs compared to direct electric water heating were observed. The project verified that the TES system operates successfully under real operating scenarios.

The 2.5 MWhth TES unit developed in portable architecture is being manufactured for validation under real operating conditions. Pilot site selection is ongoing and installation and performance measurement processes will begin after manufacturing is completed.

The project combines a 200 kWth heat pump with a TES unit providing 2.5 MWhth of thermal energy capacity for poultry-farm heating. The system is designed to charge the thermal energy storage unit during low-cost electricity periods and discharge the stored heat according to the poultry farm's heating demand. By integrating the heat pump with thermal storage, the project aims to shift electrical loads away from expensive hours, improve operational efficiency and reduce energy costs by up to 50% while maintaining stable indoor temperatures.

Thermoelectric Battery (TEB) platform prototype development and thermoelectric conversion test program. Energy recovery is tested with solid-state TEG modules in Power-to-Heat-to-Power architecture. Target: up to 75% electrical RTE in selected architectures.

TES Mini is a compact and modular 20 kWh thermal energy storage solution designed for homes, businesses, hotels, agricultural facilities, farms, social facilities, small industrial sites, hot-water applications and space heating. The system uses a coil-free thermal architecture and supports configuration-dependent operating temperatures up to 800°C. Its compact design enables thermal energy to be stored close to the point of use without degradation.
